About Us
Nurturing children from the local community for 40 years, Heatherside Pre-school is a charitable organisation, providing a stimulating and fun environment for children aged from two years old, until the start of their infant school journey.
Our aim is to help children grow as individuals and to develop both practical and social skills. The children have access to a wide range of engaging activities. These cater for physical, social, emotional and cognitive development, promoting learning through play. Our team of dedicated staff are committed to helping each child realise their full potential
Following our last Ofsted (Nov 2022) some very positive points were highlighted - "Children are fully engaged in play and enjoy the wide range of resources available". "They take pride in their achievements, supported by the continual praise that staff provide". "Children with SEND and/or who speak English as an additional language receive prompt and effective support". "Staff create an environment that supports children's interests"
The pre-school staff and committee welcome any suggestions, and are available to help with any queries, concerns or worries you may have.
